Binh Duong aims for sustainable development, being smart, civilized and modern urban areas; strives to become a modern industrial center by 2030, and by 2045 a smart urban area of the region and the whole country. To complete the above goal, and at the same time to complete the targets of the 11th Provincial Party Resolution for the 2020-2025 term, the Provincial Party Committee set forth key groups of tasks and solutions.

The key groups of tasks and solutions proposed and implemented by the Provincial Party Committee from now until the end of the 2020-2025 term are: Binh Duong continues to perform the tasks of ensuring stable and sustainable economic growth, restructuring in the right direction, gradually increasing the contribution of the service industry to economic growth; strive for annual economic growth of 9 - 10% in two years 2024-2025.

- Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee: TOP 1 ICF (Intelligent Community Forum) is an opportunity and motivation for Binh Duong to build a new development orientation in harmony with international criteria and smart urban development goals of the province. Binh Duong also develops the industrial - urban - service complex in the direction of ecological industry, modern services, green, smart, safe, and sustainable urban areas, leaving no one behind. Ensure synchronous, modern infrastructure, interconnected with technical infrastructure, social infrastructure, port system, and surrounding logistics services, meeting the development requirements of high-tech industries, Industry 4.0, smart, less intensive in labor, land, and energy, prioritizing the use of clean energy and renewable energy.

At the same time, the province accelerates the disbursement of public investment capital, ensuring an annual rate of over 95%; complete investment in key projects connecting regions and inter-regions. Accelerate the implementation of key regional connection projects, such as: Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 Project; Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang road... In the coming time, Binh Duong will continue to effectively implement the program of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on implementing Resolution No. 06-NQ/TW dated January 24, 2022 of the Politburo on planning, construction, and sustainable urban management and development in Vietnam until 2030, vision to 2045. It focuses on comprehensive, sustainable, green, clean development and improving urban quality; building urban areas with synchronous and modern infrastructure; building a civilized, friendly, and meaningful urban lifestyle, a worth-living place with its own identity.

The province will continue to invest in building parks and gardens, and carry out the plan of greening urban areas; complete the upgrading of urban areas according to the roadmap. By 2025, the whole province will completely eliminate unconnected dirt roads and residential areas that do not meet infrastructure conditions, meeting housing development targets (urban housing, rural housing, worker housing, social housing areas) according to forecast population size of the province in each period.

Binh Duong strives that by 2025, the average green area per urban resident will reach 6 - 8 m2/person; By 2030, the average green area per person in urban areas of Thu Dau Mot, Thuan An, Di An, Ben Cat, Tan Uyen will reach 8 - 10m2/person, and the remaining urban areas will reach ≥10m2/person. By 2025, the urbanization rate of the whole province will reach about 85%; Complete the upgrading of urban areas according to the roadmap.
