US trade promotion conference in logistics held

The US trade promotion conference in logistics 2022, co-chaired by provincial Department of Industry and Trade and the Tacoma World Trade Center (WTC), took place at provincial Convention and Exhibition Center on the morning of October 28. The conference was held in the form of direct and online integration with the participation of enterprises, schools, seaports from Tacoma city in the US and industries’ associations in the province.

At the conference, delegates discussed the current export situation in the country as well as in the world, identified challenges and proposed solutions to remove them. They said that the world has witnessed many changes since the Covid-19 pandemic. Cross-border e-commerce is a trend, a way for US enterprises to access the Vietnamese market and vice versa.

On the afternoon of the same day, delegates had a field trip to Binh Duong port and ICD TBS Tan Van, helping US businesses understand more about the local logistics industry.
