Venerable Dhakpa Tulku Rinpoche visits Binh Duong

On the occasion of Buddha’s Birthday in year 2554 of Buddhist calendar, Venerable Dhapka Tulku Rinpoche – former chief monk of India’s Sera-May Monastery – has visited Binh Duong in his first trip to Vietnam until June 30th.

 

Receiving the Buddhist delegations were religious officials and majority of followers.

 

Venerable Dhakpa Tulku Rinpoche is recognized as the reincarnation of the 49th Gaden Tripa Lobsang Dhargye Rinpoche, who was the head of the Geluk tradition of Tibetan Buddhism by His Holiness the 13th Dalai Lama.

 

In two days in Binh Duong at Hoi Khanh Pagoda, Venerable Dhakpa Tulku Rinpoche paid visit to province’s Buddhism Association to exchange mediation practice and teachings of  Avalokiteśvara, and prayers for world peace.
