Veterans Associations emulation cluster of Provincial Northern districts have good and effective models

On October 24, in Phu Giao district, Veterans Association Emulation Cluster of northern localities of the province, including: Veterans Associations of Phu Giao district, Bau Bang district, Bac Tan Uyen district, and Dau Tieng district organized a summary of the emulation movement "Exemplary Veterans" in 2023. The meeting was attended by Major General Tran Huu Tai, Chairman of Provincial Veterans Association.

During the past year, Veterans Associations of northern districts in the province continued to grasp directives and resolutions of the Party Central Committee and Party Committees at all levels in the province; coordinated with competent agencies to carry out hundreds of patrols to protect social security and order in the localities; maintained effective operations of 48 information teams and provided many valuable sources of information to the authorities. The Association also coordinated with Bank for Social Policies to assess and disburse preferential loans to 1,259 households, with total amount of more than VND20 billion 149 million; mobilized contributions to the association fund of nearly VND18 billion 300 million, lending to 1,327 members for economic development. Besides, the association maintained and replicated effective models, such as: "Supporting poor students to go to school"; “Veterans Association’s self-managed roads”; “Bright, green, clean, beautiful streets”; "Practice a civilized lifestyle in weddings and funerals"...

Major General Tran Huu Tai acknowledged and appreciated the effective implementation of the exemplary veteran emulation movement of northern districts’ emulation cluster, with many good models and new effective ways creating diffusion among officials, members and people. He also requested Veterans Association Emulation Cluster of the northern districts to continue upholding solidarity spirit among officers and members, effectively performing the association's works and making the emulation movement increasingly effective.
