Vibrant emulation to welcome provincial FFC congress

Recently, the Standing Board and the system of Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) have intensified a special, practical emulation movement to achieve outstanding results in celebrating the success of the city’s  10^th FFC congress for the 2024-2029 tenure. This effort is also directed in celeberation of the 10th provincial FFC congress for the 2024-2029 tenure towards the 10th National FFC congress. The movement has been organized with a variety of meaningful activities, reinforcing the great national unity bloc, contributing to successfully realizing the local political tasks.

Building up green city

One of practical and meaningful activities done by TDM city’s FFC  to welcome the 10th provincial FFC congress for the 2024-2029 tenure is the implementation of the "Great Unity Garden" work. This work was organized at the beginning of June 2024 in Chanh My ward’s My Hao 2 quarter, covering an area of 1,600 square meters. On the first day of the work, participants planted 120 Thai Lagerstroemia trees and 10 phoenix trees along with other types of trees.

Truong Thi Thu Hien, Chairwoman of TDM city’s FFC stated that the "Great Unity Garden" work is intended to celebrate the success of the city’s FFC towards the 10th provincial FFC congress for the 2024-2029 tenure. This activity has also demonstrated the city's FFC system's commitment to continue implementing provincial Party Committee Standing Board’s Project 02-DA/TU dated July 23, 2021 on “Mass mobilization participating in building civilized and cultural lifestyle" in Binh Duong province for the 2021-2025 period; the project to improve the quality of the "Building civilized-cultural lifestyle" campaign in TDM city for the 2021-2025 period.

"This activity has created a lively competitive atmosphere in carrying out meaningful projects and tasks, encouraging people from all levels to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns initiated by the FFC and its member organizations. It also mobilizes officials, members, social organizations, businesses, people from all strata to actively respond to the “Each person plants a tree, each household adds a green area” movement. It aims at propagandizing, mobilizing people to raise their awareness and change in thoughts and actions regarding planting, tending and protecting urban green spaces as well as planting dispersed trees to gradually improve the quality of the living environment…", Mrs. Hien shared.

Many meaningful works and tasks

Along with the organization of the "Great Unity Garden", the Standing Board and the system of the FFC in the wards of TDM city have recently conducted a variety of diverse activities to celebrate the 10th provincial FFC congress for the 2024-2029 tenure. Among these activities, a notable activity is the "Garden for Front Workers" in Phu Tan ward.

Nguyen Thi Truong An, Chairwoman of Phu Tan ward’s FFC stated that this work has demonstrated the responsibility of member organizations, front teams in quarters, self-management groups on environmental protection, local residents in preserving, tending and planting more green trees in the premises of their organizations. Additionally, it has encouraged members and residents to plant trees around their homes and along streets to increase green coverage in the city, making it greener, cleaner, and more beautiful, improving the ecological environment, contributing to the campaign of "Each person plants a tree, each household adds a green area", aiming at building up a "civilized - prosperous - modern" Phu Tan ward.

In the celebration of the 10th provincial FFC congress, Hoa Phu ward’s FFC  has implemented the "Great Unity Flower Road" work while Hiep Thanh ward has carried out the "Golden Bell Flower Road" work.... Along with these tree planting activities and environmental protection efforts to build a green city, the FFCs of the wards in the city have organized many significant activities. For instance, Phu Tho ward’s FFC established the "Live joyfully and healthily" club and implemented the "Kitchen of smiles" model. The "Kitchen of Smiles" model aims at supporting the local poor households and individuals with extremely difficult circumstances.

According to Mrs. Hien, these meaningful works and tasks conducted by the city’s FFCs at all levels are like vibrant flowers sent to the 10th provincial FFC for the 2024-2029 tenure. These practical activities have helped affirm the position and role of the FFCs at all levels in mobilizing and upholding the strength of the great national unity bloc; encouraged and motivated people from all strata to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns led by the FFC, contributing to building up a more and more civilized and modern TDM city.
