Vietinbank’s Binh Duong industrial park branch marks 15th anniversary
On the evening of March 30, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank)’s Binh Duong industrial park branch held a ceremony to mark its 15th anniversary and a conference for staff in 2017, in attendance of Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with leaders of sectors and departments in the province.
At the ceremony, leader of the branch reported its achievements during the past 15 years while expressing gratitude to the local leaders and clients who accompanied it during the period. The branch has so far had a total of 102 staff with operational targets, tens of times higher than its initial period. Particularly, the branch has achieved a 65 and 27-fold increase in capital mobilized and total outstanding loans, respectively and there are now 5 transaction offices. It has also won the “major branch” title of Vietinbank and is one of strong branches in the local banking system.
Mr.Liem highly valued the efforts by the branch in banking activities. The branch was also one of outstanding units in executing tax obligation. In the coming time, it needs to follow hard on the local plans on socio-economic development, further improve and focus on expanding its network to be able to strongly get involved in the local economic development.
On this occasion, Vietinbank’s Binh Duong industrial park branch and its staff were awarded the certificates of merit of provincial People’s Committee and Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam for their excellent performance for 2002-2017 and 2014-2016, respectively…
