Vietnam announces economic strategy until 2035

Vo Tri Thanh, Deputy Director of Central Research Institute for Economic Management, said Vietnam would officially announce economic strategy report in 2035 to about 400 pages. In particular, experts assessed, in 2035, Vietnam would become a high-middle-income country and be ranked as middle-class country in the world.

Evaluating ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), Mr. Tri said, after Singapore, Vietnam was the most integrating country. In the next 5 years, Vietnam would take the lead in investment market, partnerships to strategic partnerships, comprehensive partnerships. If we make good use of the advantages from the AEC, Vietnam will have many opportunities to catch up with developed countries in ASEAN in a shortest time.
