Vietnam, China vow to build strategic partnership
The Party and Government of Vietnam always attach importance to developing comprehensive strategic partnership with China for the benefit of both countries and for regional peace, stability and development.
Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and chief of the Committee’s Office, Ngo Van Du, made the statement while receiving the Deputy Director of the General Office of the China Communist Party (CCP) Central Committee, Zhao Shengxuan, in Hanoi on May 10.
The visit by the CCP delegation is a step towards strengthen traditional cooperation between offices of the two Party Central Committees, contributing to boosting comprehensive relations between the two Parties and countries, Mr Du said. He also expressed his pleasure at the developments of comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and China.
Zhao Shengxuan affirmed that increased experience sharing and close cooperation between the two Party Central Committees’ offices will help enhance and deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Vietnam.
Earlier, Zhao Shengxuan held talk with his Vietnamese counterpart Hoang Thanh Khiet, during which the two sides exchanged experiences and measures to increase cooperation between the two Party Central Committees’ offices.
During their stay in Vietnam, the CCP delegation paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and had working visits in Quang Ninh province and Ho Chi Minh City.
