Vietnam fashion show put on in Italy

The event featured Vietnamese models and four Italian female models, representing a collection by designer Hoang Hai with 10 sets of Vietnamese traditional long dresses and 30 sets of party dresses with improvisational, young and charming style.

Designer Hoang Hai introduced samples of the long dress characterizing Vietnamese culture. Besides the traditional long dress samples, he also introduced long dresses with contemporary, sexy, sophisticated style, while maintaining the available beauty of the traditional Vietnamese long dress.

The collection gently and precisely introduced dressing style of Vietnamese people throughout the North-Central-South. More specifically, the soul of Firenze also be blown into this collection by the use of material directly produced in the most famous city in Italy.

Flower satin, silk and chiffon produced on the modern production lines of Italy were designed Vietnam's clothing, which become a great blend, bringing a great meaning to the beautiful Vietnamese traditional long dresses.

Designer Hoang Hai said this is the first time he was invited to perform in Italy, the capital of the world fashion industry, so he was honoured to have this good opportunity to promote the image of the Vietnamese traditional long dress, bringing Vietnam’s specific cultural features to international friends.

“I hope Vietnam’s fashion sector will gradually integrate into world fashion flow, and fashion lovers everywhere always remember Vietnam with the graceful Vietnamese traditional long dress of Vietnamese women,” he said.

At the event, viewers and Italian friends appreciated the Vietnamese traditional long dresses. Ms Flavia, an Italian guest, commented that Vietnamese women are so graceful when wearing long dress. She said she had also been given a set of Vietnamese long dress and she wears it on the occasion of important events.

The show is not only an opportunity to strengthen solidarity, but also to introduce the country, people and culture of Vietnam. In addition, the show is an opportunity to raise funds to rebuild the theatre of the city, destroyed in the earthquake last year.
