On November 30, Vietnam-Germany University (VGU) solemnly held graduation and opening ceremony of the new school year 2022 - 2023. Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Vietnam-Germany University awarded diplomas to 258 undergraduate students and 70 master's students.

In the academic year 2022 - 2023, VGU has 2,400 Vietnamese students and 70 international students. The university's goal is to attract about 6,000 students by 2030. The school is currently training 7 bachelor's and 9 master's majors of computer science, science technology, architecture construction, business management. All training programs are closely and regularly monitored by the higher education quality accreditation agencies of the Federal Republic of Germany.
On this occasion, 239 excellent students were awarded scholarships, including: 160 talented scholarships from Vietnam-Germany University; 46 DAAD scholarships from the German Academic Exchange Service; 18 WUS scholarships from the Hessen State Department of Economy, Energy, Transport and Development; 15 scholarships from VGU’s Friends Association. The school also commended 5 lecturers who won teaching and research awards organized by the school.
According to the school's statistics, the rate of university graduates who have jobs, continue to study at a higher level is 98%.
