Vietnam - Japan youth cultural exchange held

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (September 21, 1973 - September 21, 2023), provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, on September 9, coordinated with provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and Aeon Mall Binh Duong Canary to organize a series of the Vietnamese and Japanese youth cultural exchange activities with the theme of "Enhancing cooperation towards the future".

At the event, the Organization Board of the program awarded 10 scholarships worth VND 15 million each to the local disadvantaged children. Along with that, Vietnamese - Japanese youth participated in many exchange activities, connecting the two countries' friendship such as cultural exchange items; competitions for decorating conical hats, decorating kites and drawing cartoon characters, performing art items and traditional costumes of Vietnam and Japan.

The Organization Board of the program awarded first, second, third and consolation prizes to outstanding individuals and collectives at the competitions. Specifically,  Di An city’s Youth Union won first prize in the Vietnam - Japan traditional fashion competition.  Thu Dau Mot University’s Youth Union won first prize in the free art performance competition for Youth Union members. The Youth Union of Dau Tieng Rubber Co., Ltd. won first prize in the conical hat decoration contest with the theme of Vietnam – Japan...
