Vietnam - Japan youth exchange program kicks off

On September 5, Thu Dau Mot University in collaboration with Asian Education and Exchange Association and Tokyo University of Economics (Japan) held the opening ceremony of the Vietnam - Japan youth exchange program 2023. This is an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations (1973-2023).

The Vietnam - Japan youth exchange program takes place until September 14, with the participation of 7 students from Japan and 9 students from Binh Duong schools, including: Thu Dau Mot University, Vietnamese German University, and Eastern International University. This program is to raise the spirit of dynamism and international integration, contributing to building a friendly and healthy educational environment for students in the province. This also creates a quality cultural and academic exchange forum for Vietnamese and Japanese students, helping them gain a deeper understanding and have practical experiences about the cultures of the two countries.

In addition to the study and exchange sessions held at Thu Dau Mot University, students will visit and experience making their own products in traditional craft villages in Binh Duong, such as: Tuong Binh Hiep Lacquer Village, Lai Thieu Pottery Village; visit the pomelo growing process at Bach Dang isle (Tan Uyen City); making leaf crafts and mid-autumn lanterns with recycled materials. Student delegations from both countries also came to award scholarships to students at Huynh Van Luy Junior High School (Tan Uyen City) ...
