Ho Duc Viet, head of the steering committee for overseas training of administration officials and managers visited Italy, Germany, and the Czech Republic from June 21-29.

During his visit, Mr. Viet met with the relevant ministries and universities about the arrangements for delegations to study in the three countries.

Mr. Viet introduced project 165 that focuses on the management of public administration, cultural heritage, tourism development, urban environment management, development of public-private partnership (PPP) projects, government purchases and experiences in dealing with the consequences of climate change’s.

The three countries agreed to take Vietnam’s proposal into consideration before signing contracts for training courses to start in late 2010 or early 2011.
