Over time, grassroots trade unions have closely coordinated, promoted propaganda and mobilized employees to strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws, pioneering and exemplary in work and propagating and educating employees to promote the spirit of creativity and innovation at work to constantly strive to take care of the material and spiritual life of employees, contributing to sustainable business development.

For example, the grassroots trade union regularly advises the company's Board of Directors to ensure the regimes and policies; at the same time, negotiate and sign a collective labor agreement with more favorable terms for employees. Along with that, the grassroots trade union launched the emulation movement "Excellent Labor - Creative Labor" at the company. Up to now, the improvement initiatives of employees have brought economic benefits to enterprises, improving and increasing the income of employees.

Similarly, Nguyen Duy Phuong, Party member, Chairman of the grassroots trade union of Compass II Co. Ltd. (VSIP I), said that the implementation of the "For employees" model has contributed to improving the efficiency of care work and taking care of and protecting the legitimate interests of trade union members and workers. In particular, the grassroots trade union negotiated and signed a labor agreement with the company's Board of Directors with more favorable terms for employees. At the same time, the company's grassroots union actively propagated to mobilize trade union members and workers to respond and participate in emulation movements launched by the company's grassroots trade union. In particular, the movement of "Good people doing good deeds by returning lost things on collecting" with practical and humanistic meanings, has attracted a positive response from a large number of trade unionists and workers in the company. Specifically, in the past 2 years, the company's grassroots trade union has received 60 cases of picking up dropped items such as phones, bags, jewelry, papers and handing them over to trade union officials to return to owners.

To build progressive labor relations

"For the workers" is one of the practical models of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh in VSIP Party Committee, contributing to raising awareness about the most valuable resource which is human; at the same time, encourage businesses to take more practical care of their employees to well implement the guidelines of the CPV and the policies and laws of the State to ensure social security, and to create driving force for socio-economic development.

Dinh Thi Thoa, Party member, President of grassroots trade union of Tombow Company Limited (VSIP I), said that thanks to the implementation of the model off "For workers", activities to take care of and improve material life andthe morale for employees at the enterprise is well implemented by improving working conditions, building a safe working environment, and creating chemistry between employees and enterprises.

“Currently, the company is implementing many good welfare policies for employees such as in addition to the prescribed holidays, employees are also allowed to take an additional 24 Saturdays off a year. If the workers work for 10 years, they will get 3 more days off, and if they work for 15 years, they will get 5 more days off, and if they work for 20 years, they will get 7 more days off in a year. In addition, the company also subsidizes accommodation with VND 200,000 a person a month; child support allowance of VND 50,000 a month; 10 liters of gasoline a month,” said Dinh Thi Thoa.

Nguyen Duc Dung, Secretary of VSIP Party Committee, said that through studying and following President Ho Chi Minh, there were many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the labor movement and activities at VSIP Trade Union. In particular, the work of taking care of material and spiritual life, representing for the protection of legitimate rights and interests, propaganda and political and ideological education for employees are well done.
