Vietnam-Singapore Vocational College combines training with job placement

Vietnam-Singapore Vocational College is one of the few vocational school chosen in the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs' list on key vocational training with investment assistance for the 2011-2015 period and orientation till 2020.  In a practical period of auto repair at Vietnam-Singapore College.Teacher Nguyen Van Hiep, headmaster of Vietnam-Singapore Vocational College said that investment expense for teaching work increases annually. With the expense of VND11bil in this year, the college invested in teaching equipment to raise quality of vocational training and meet skilled human resources for the province.Aside from traditional majors such as mechanics, industrial electricity, automobile, the college in the school year of 2013-2014 opens more a new major of electronic-mechanics. Teacher Hiep added that the college annually recruit from 1,000 to 1,200 students. "During the process of training, the college has focused on equipping students with practical skills in match with training knowledge, health, occupational conscience and morality, disciplinary consciousness, industrial style as well as facilitating students' job seeking or higher learning, satisfying labor market", Hiep added.Apart from the on-the-spot practice, the college holds free job consultancies, probation visits to businesses as well as introduces languages, customs and laws of some nations to help students ward off embarrassment when they work at foreign enterprises.In addition, the college has offered job registration tickets for every student to help them get stable jobs soon.
