Vietnam sustainable smart urban development project to be carried out

Provincial People's Committee issued a Directive on the implementation of Decision 950/QD-TTg dated 1 Aug 2018 of the Prime Minister approving the project of Vietnam sustainable smart urban development in 2018-2025 period and orientation to 2030.

Accordingly, departments, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns, and city, relevant units and organizations shall focus on developing smart urban infrastructure systems; in which priority is given to projects to develop common technical infrastructure systems, orientations for investment in construction and development of intelligent management and administration centers for technical infrastructure systems (lighting, electricity supply, water supply, drainage, transport...); projects in the field of transport, electricity supply, lighting, water supply, and drainage; boosting the attraction of investment resources in construction and management of smart urban infrastructure.

Departments, branches, localities, and relevant units shall organize propagation and dissemination, raise organizations and individuals’ awareness of contents stated in Decision No. 950/QD-TTg on 1 Aug 2018 of the Prime Minister; implementing contents stated in Decision No. 3206/QD-UBND dated 21 Nov 2006 of Binh Duong People's Committee approving Binh Duong Smart City Project; Plan No. 13/KH-BDC on 20 Feb 2019 of provincial Smart City Executive Board, on Smart City Executive Board's Work Plan for 2019 at meeting on 3 Dec 2018.

Press agencies and radio stations in the province are responsible for carry out propagation according to the stated contents and other related documents to improve efficiency of Binh Duong Smart City development in the next phases.
