Vietnam water week 2023: Water for life’s quality and sustainable development

On the morning of September 28, Binh Duong Water - Environment Corporation coordinated with the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association to organize a ceremony to open the "Vietnam Water Week 2023" at the International Exhibition Center of Binh Duong New City, in attendance of Nguyen Tuong Van, Deputy Minister of Construction; Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice- Chairman of provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Dung said that Binh Duong has paid special importance to investment in urban infrastructure development. Throughout that process, in addition to investing in roads and electricity works, provincial leaders have always paid attention to the fields of water supply-drainage and the environment, creating conditions for  businesses ‘participation under the support of the local State budget capital. Binh Duong has always attached special importance to urban infrastructure, modern science and technology. Events during the water week will be an opportunity for the province to have more useful information, increase understanding of water and environmental issues, helping local leaders promptly grasp the development trends of the water sector, thereby providing appropriate leadership and direction to the progress of society and the world...

After the opening ceremony, many exciting activities, including a series of international seminars focusing on hot issues of the water sector will take place on September 28, 29 and 30.
