“Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign brings unexpected results

According to vice-chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee, deputy head of provincial Steering Board for the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign Nguyen Tan Loc, the campaign has made positive impacts on the awareness and habit of officials, civil servants and people in daily life and consumption. Businesses have also had more proper awareness in goods production and trading, contributing to making more confidence in customers.

  

Implementation of the “Bringing Vietnamese goods to countryside” program in Phu Giao district

Since early 2011, provincial Steering Board for the campaign has concentrated on propaganda and mobilization of State agencies, units and businesses to give priority to using Vietnamese goods; sped up introduction about Vietnamese products via the mass media; made favorable conditions for businesses to introduce and provide their products for customers…

 

Provincial Steering Board for the campaign also organized a workshop on “Vietnamese goods give priority to using Vietnamese goods” for trade union leaders of non-State businesses in the province. Meanwhile, provincial Women’s Union set up 48 propaganda clubs and groups about the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods”. Provincial market control strengthened inspection against fake or poor-quality products.

 

How was the program of “Bringing Vietnamese goods to countryside” under the campaign organized?

 

Provincial Department of Industry and Trade cooperated with provincial Youth Union, the People’s Committees of Dau Tieng, Phu Giao districts and Di An town to hold 4 “joyful market days” for young workers in several industrial parks and 6 market days of “bringing Vietnamese goods to the rural region” in communes of Phuoc Hoa, Tan Long, Tan Dinh, Thanh Tuyen, Minh Hoa and Long Nguyen, helping rural people have a chance to get access to Vietnamese goods with preferential prices….

 

Which measures provincial Department of Industry and Trade will step up to promote the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods during and after the 2012 Tet holiday?

 

Before, during and after the 2012 Tet holiday, provincial Department of Industry and Trade will forward a peak month of the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign; mobilize businesses to organize “joyful market days” for workers in industrial parks and people in the rural region. Provincial Trade Promotion Center will encourage businesses to improve their product quality as well as expanding their retail systems…Provincial mass organizations will also promote the development of the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” clubs and groups…
