Vietnamese Workers’ Month and Binh Duong provincial Young Workers’ Week 2024 launched

*VSIP’s Trade Union launches Action Month for Labor Safety and Hygiene 2024

Early May 12, provincial Youth Union and Youth Federation held a ceremony to launch 17th Vietnam Workers' Month and the 17th Binh Duong provincial Young Workers' Week - the festival of giving strength to young workers in 2024. The event was attended by Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee.

At the ceremony, provincial Youth Union launched its branches to respond to Vietnamese Workers’ Month and provincial Young Workers’ Week; presented awards from provincial People's Committee to 5 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in 3 years of implementing provincial Project of uniting and gathering young workers for the period of 2021-2025. In addition, provincial Youth Union awarded provincial Support Fund for Young Workers with difficult circumstances to 8 poor young workers; presented 30 gifts to the offspring of young workers with difficult circumstances. Provincial Youth Union also commended 16 secretaries of youth sub-unions, heads of clubs, teams, and groups of outstanding young workers in 2024; presented gratitude to 10 typical proprietors who have made many contributions in taking care of the lives of young workers at the local lodging facilities.  

At the ceremony, provincial Support Center for Young Workers awarded a decision on the establishment of the  Club Connecting Young Workers No.42 and Club Connecting Young Workers No.43. Thai Binh Investment Joint Stock Company awarded symbolic boards to support the "Houses of Compassion" for young workers with difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, provincial Youth Union signed a coordination program with Nhan Kiet Manpower Supply Co.Ltd. to introduce jobs for the local young people in the period of 2024-2027; launched 90 days of peak emulation and launched the logo of the 8th provincial Youth Union Congress for the 2024-2029 tenure...

 *On the morning of the same day, Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP)’s Trade Union held a ceremony to launch the Workers’ Month and Action Month for Labor Safety and Hygiene 2024. At the ceremony, VSIP’s Trade Union awarded 51 gifts to workers with difficult circumstances and hit by labor accidents; commended 20 typical enterprises and trade union locals, making positive contributions to the local Trade Union activities.
