Nguyen Van Danh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the conference.

According to reports, main violations in recent times included: failure to notify sales e-commerce websites to state management agencies; providing false information about traders, organizations, and individuals that own e-commerce websites; using announced symbols to attach to e-commerce websites for sales without approval or confirmation of notification from a competent State agency according to regulations... Authorities have inspected and handled 13 violations, fined 371.5 million VND. At the conference, representatives of departments, branches and localities focused on discussing and recommending solutions to improve the effectiveness of fighting against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in e-commerce activities.

Concluding the conference, Danh ordered units and localities to strengthen the Steering Committee, ensure continuity from province to localities to improve efficiency in information and timely coordination. The fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in e-commerce activities is a key, long-term and regular task. Branches need to proactively advise and propose solutions to overcome shortcomings, improve the effectiveness of propaganda and information dissemination, not cover up, avoid negativity, and strictly handle violations of the law.
