Visiting, extending Tet greetings to Truong Sa island district’s army and people

A ceremony was held at Cam Ranh military port on January 1 to see off officers and soldiers of the Brigade 146 together with correspondents from 85 press agencies and television stations, to Truong Sa island district (photo).

The delegation is carried on 4 ships in accordance with North, middle and South routes. Along with providing essential commodities, handing over fresh troops, withdrawing old ones, the delegation will offer help in many aspects to Truong Sa island district’s people and army.

Correspondents from Binh Duong Daily and Binh Duong Radio-Television Station also join the delegation. At the see-off ceremony, representative of Binh Duong Daily presented 400 books named “Diary of Ho Chi Minh generation” to captains of the four ships HQ 996, HQ 571, HQ 561, HQ 936. All the books will be transferred to officials, soldiers and people on 18 islands belonging to Truong Sa archipelago.
