Visiting, offering Tet gifts to needy people, policy beneficiary families, religious facilities, AO victims

On January 28, the Division 7 under the Army Corps 4 held a delegation to visit and offer gifts to needy people, policy beneficiary families on the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2021.

Accordingly, the delegation visited, donated Tet gifts to heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Chat in Phu My ward’s quarter in TDM city, the families of cadres and soldiers under the Division 7 with difficult circumstances. Colonel Le Luong Quyen, Secretary of the Division 7’s Party Committee, Political Commissar wished the mother good health and longevity. He also encouraged the families to surmount difficulties, actively study and well fulfill entrusted tasks.

On this occasion, the Division 7 offered nearly VND30million to the above targeted people; extracted VND300million from its fund to support cadres and soldiers…

*On the morning of the same day, Thuan An city organized delegations to visit and extend Tet greetings to the local religious facilities on the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2021.

In each visiting place, the delegation briefly informed parishioners, Buddhist nuns, monks, followers of the city’s socio-economic development last year; extended Tet greetings to them, wished them a joyful and happy spring while wanting that they will continue well realizing Covid-19 prevention and control, join hands with people from all strata to building up a civilized and modern Thuan An city.

*Provincial Association for Victims of Dioxin/Agent Orange (AO), on January 28, visited and offered Tet gifts to AO victims in Di An and Thuan An cities.

Particularly, 187 gifts, including 30 from provincial People’s Committee and 157 from provincial Association for Victims of Dioxin/ AO Victims, were for AO victims in Di An city. Whilst, 108 other gifts, comprising of 20 from provincial People’s Committee and 88 from the association, were for AO victims in Thuan An city. It is known that each gift from provincial People’s Committee is worth VND1.5million while each gift from the association is worth VND1million.

On this occasion, Thuan An city’s Association for Victims of Dioxin/AO also donated 50 gifts worth VND500,000 each to AO victims aged at 80 and above.
