VND 10,000 billion needed to develop traffic in Thu Dau Mot city

Based on the general planning of Thu Dau Mot city until 2045 and the draft resolution on the continued construction and development of Thu Dau Mot city until 2030, in addition to focusing on prioritizing investment in key projects such as National Highway 13, Van Dai 3, My Phuoc - Tan Van etc., the city proposes the demand for 2026-2030 to upgrade, expand, and invest in new construction to ensure that 22 main urban and inter-regional roads are developed according to the approved planning cross-section. The total estimated investment is about 10,000 billion VND.

Accordingly, the leader of the People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot city, stated that once completed, the projects will connect the riverside route of the local area with Thuan An city, develop riverside tourism, promote the conservation and development project of the Tuong Binh Hiep lacquerware craft village in conjunction with tourism, and encourage the development of the western and northwest regions of the city. At the same time, the projects will increase the number of traffic routes, reduce traffic flow on the main roads, contribute to alleviating traffic congestion, increase the volume of goods transportation, attract investment, and promote the socio-economic development of the city.
