VND 34.5 billion offered to support for employees whose jobs have been reduced by

In recent days, Binh Duong Trade Union has been accelerating the implementation of policies to support employees whose jobs have been reduced according to Decision No. 6696/QD-TLD issued by the Vietnam General Trade Union.

Accordingly, the unit signed an approval decision for 22,654 union members and employees of 97 enterprises to enjoy the policy with a total amount of VND 34.5 billion. Accordingly, 10,679 employees whose working hours were reduced or stopped working were approved to be helped with VND 10.6 billion; and 11,971 employees who had their labor contracts suspended or stopped were approved to be helped with VND 23.8 billion. In addition, 4 employees whose labor contracts were terminated were helped with VND 12 million.

The provincial Trade Union is urging the superior trade union on the basis of implementing and completing the supporting package in June, 2023.
