VND1,6tril for new rural building

The Finance Ministry said that aside from expense for new rural building program at 11 communes in the 2009-2010 period, the central budget in this year allocates 1,6tril to implement the national program on new rural building. Needy localities will be given priorities.Owing to the program’s newness, the Ministry asked localities to perfect the steering boards of new rural building across provinces, districts and communes to win highest results.
To reach the highest results, the program is in need of proper allocation of budget and initiative from localities, said Ho Xuan Hung, vice minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
