VND398bln spent on local social welfare activities
Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, sectors and mass organizations excelled at taking care of social policy beneficiaries and workers in Q1 2015.
It is estimated that the whole province spent VND398bln on social welfare activities. Particularly, the province mobilized more than VND323bln from many resources to take care of policy beneficiaries and poor people on the 2015 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival; awarded the title of “Vietnamese heroic mother” to 432 mothers; built and upgraded 278 gratitude houses with a total expense of nearly VND10bln.
The province also attached special importance to taking care of laborers’ spiritual and material lives via many significant activities; organized 4 job transaction sessions with the recruitment demand of more than 13,000 laborers, generating jobs for nearly 8,000 laborers; received and dealt with 16,710 documents enjoying social insurance policies…
