Vocational training for disabled people focused

Disabled people attend a vocational training class on informatics.

Nguyen Van Nam, chairman of the provincial sponsor society for the disabled, orphans and poor patients said that the society has over the past years held vocational training classes for 3,074 disabled people with the total expense of more than VND2.5bil.

In 2012 alone, the society mobilized support of International Apparel Company in Ben Cat town to teach how to make medical tools for 25 disabled people. After the course, learners enjoy an income of VND3-8mil per capita per month.

In addition, the society introduced jobs for disabled people. Nam added that the society has launched some projects of vocational training for the disabled. Specifically, Phu Giao district just opened a vocational training class on producing rubber latex exploitation tools. Ending the class, 15 disable people enjoy jobs with the wage of VND2.5mil per capital per month.
