Voluntary blood donation programs held
Binh Duong Water-Environment Joint Stock Company, on April 2, coordinated with provincial Red Cross Society and HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Blood Transfusion and Hematology to organize its 31st voluntary blood donation program.
With the theme of “A drop of blood save a life”, the program absorbed more than 250 company officials and workers. As a result, the organizers collected 147 units of blood.
This was one of activities in response to the National Blood Donation Day (April 7) held by provincial Red Cross Society and units in the province to propagandize and mobilize more and more people to give blood, contributing to supplying a source of blood for patients being treated at medical facilities.
*Provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union has also just teamed up with provincial Red Cross Society and HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Blood Transfusion and Hematology to hold its 3rd voluntary blood donation program of 2019.
More than 180 officials, civil servant, Youth Union members took part in the program with 154 units of blood given.
