Voluntary blood donors honored

Early May 8, TDM city held a ceremony to mark International Red Cross and Red Crescent Day (May 8); honor voluntary blood donors in 2017.

Marking International Red Cross and Red Crescent Day is a chance for those who get involved in humanitarian work around the world to review the history of the Red Cross movement, further affirm and uphold the role of humanitarian organizations. Last year, the city last year organized 8 voluntary blood donation stages with 1,950 units of blood given.

On this occasion, the city also honored 5 collectives, 111 individuals and 1 family with excellent achievements in the local voluntary blood donation movement last year.
