Volunteer activities upheld on the occasion of Vietnam Doctors' Day

On February 21, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation attended a series of volunteer activities at Binh Duong Provincial General Hospital, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025). During the program, leaders of the Provincial General Hospital expressed their gratitude to benefactors who have supported the unit over the years. Notably, the Thien Hoa Charity Kitchen has provided approximately 3,000 meals and free hot water daily for patients in difficult circumstances. On this occasion, Provincial Red Cross donated 1 billion VND, and Binh Duong Women Entrepreneurs Association contributed 200 million VND to Fund for the Poor at Provincial General Hospital. In addition, Provincial General Hospital also donated 1 ton of rice and 20 million VND to Thien Hoa Charity Kitchen.

At this meaningful event, provincial leaders, Provincial Red Cross and Provincial General Hospital honored the golden hearts of 50 volunteers serving the Thien Hoa Charity Kitchen. The Provincial Red Cross and Economic Security Department under Provincial Police presented 200 gifts to disadvantaged patients.
