On the afternoon of December 27, provincial People's Committee held an online meeting at 3 levels to implement plans to organize and deploy activities of youth volunteer groups participating in community digital transformation for the period of 2023-2025. Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.
To implement this task, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has advised provincial People's Committee on planning to establish at least 1 community digital transformation youth squad at district and commune levels, with at least 20 members per team. For areas and hamlets, each Youth Union branch establishes a youth volunteer group to participate in community digital transformation with at least 10 members. Teams and groups are trained to improve their knowledge on digital transformation to perform a number of tasks, including transferring instructions for installing and using digital platforms, digital technology and digital skills; popularizing community digital skills.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Minh emphasized the importance of establishing community digital transformation youth volunteer teams and groups. This is the core force to contribute to completing the goals of building a digital government and digital society of the province. He believes that with strong support from local authorities, and the proactive and dynamic spirit of youth, teams and groups will operate with true quality and efficiency.
