Voters in education sector give opinions on policies for teachers

On September 23, the Provincial National Assembly delegation held a meeting between National Assembly deputies and the provincial education and training sector to collect opinions on the draft Law on Teachers before the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly. Attending the conference were Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly’s Delegation; Ms. Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

At the conference, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed voters about the expected time and content of the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly; at the same time, reported on some new policies developed in the draft Law on Teachers of the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly and approved by the Government in Resolution No. 95/NQ-CP dated July 7, 2023.

At the conference, voters expressed their opinions on policies for teachers such as salary reform while maintaining the seniority allowance; agreed on regulations that preschool teachers can retire at 55 years old; considered approving of female teachers at all levels who are 55 years old and have worked for 35 years retiring and receiving full salary...

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Xuan acknowledged and appreciated the opinions of voters. The Provincial National Assembly delegation will summarize voters' opinions and recommendations and send them to the relevant authorities for consideration, resolution, and completion of the draft Law on Teachers.
