Voters request effective solutions to traffic congestion and lack of medicine and medical supplies

On January 4, Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council; and delegates of Provincial People's Council met voters in Tan Dinh ward (Ben Cat town) after the regular meeting at the end of 2023.

At the meeting, representatives of Provincial People's Council informed the implementation results of Provincial People's Council Resolution on the situation of socio-economic development, national defense - security in 2023, and the results of Provincial People's Council’s year-end meeting; respond to voters' questions and recommendations at the previous meeting. Besides, voters in Tan Dinh ward proposed speeding up the construction progress of urban roads; people's cemetery planning; controlling harmful information online; solutions to improve traffic congestion; relocation of graves at the people's cemetery in Quarter 2...

Voters give opinions at the meeting.

* On the same afternoon, Nguyen Van Loc and delegates of Provincial People's Council met with voters in An Dien commune (Ben Cat town). At the meeting, voters proposed expanding DT748 road; strengthening food hygiene and safety management; early resolution of shortages of drugs, medical supplies...

l In Hoa Loi ward of Ben Cat town, voters raised the need for more welfare projects for people; Some roads bordering Hoa Phu ward and Hoa Loi ward need to be upgraded to make it easier for people to travel...

* In Tan Uyen City, delegates of Provincial People's Council met with voters in Tan Vinh Hiep, Hoi Nghia, Uyen Hung wards and Bach Dang commune. Voters asked the authorities to have effective solutions to handle factories and plants that discharge waste causing environmental pollution; increase investment in public healthcare, have better regimes for medical staff, doctors, and medical students; invest in building facilities and schools to meet teaching and learning needs...

* On the same day, delegates of Provincial People's Council also met with voters in three communes An Long, Tan Long, Phuoc Hoa (Phu Giao district); An Phu, Binh Hoa, Binh Nham, Vinh Phu, An Thanh wards (Thuan An city).

At meetings with voters, representatives of Provincial People's Council, District People's Council and local authorities received and explained issues within their authority; recorded the remaining comments to transfer to competent agencies to consider, resolve, and respond to voters in the next meeting.
