VSIP I Militia Post expands good models

VSIP I militia post’s members are on duty.

The model of militia post is initiated by the provincial People’s Committee chairman and its operation has brought great efficiency. At meetings, the provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung highly values the model of militia post and asks to expand the model at other IPs.

Established on Aug. 15, 2011, the post includes 1 militia platoon with 15 members and supportive vehicles and tools. Under the leadership of Thuan An town Military Command, VSIP I Militia Post has spurred crime attacks and raids. The militia post has held over 180 patrols with the participation of 1,200 people. As a result, the post solved 73 strikes and go-slows, complaints, robberies, explosions and traffic accidents…

Nguyen Minh Tam, vice director of VSIP-FMS Company in VSIP I said that he is very pleased with operation of the militia post. Reps of Viet Huong IP I and Dong An IP’s managerial boards also agree on the model and hope that all level agencies have paid more attention to expanding the model in the province.

The provincial chairman stressed that this was a foundation for the province to expand the model at IPs. Therefore, the chairman asked functional agencies to set up militia posts across Dong An, My Phuoc, Nam Tan Uyen and Song Than IPs.
