The Trade Union of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) has just held its second congress for the 2012 and 2017 tenure.

In the last tenure, VSIP’s Trade Union excelled at taking care of laborers’ livelihood. So far, over 98,000 laborers have got labor deals; 110 enterprises have set up grassroots labor conciliation councils…VSIP’s Trade Union also set its targets for the 2012-2017 tenure, including reaching 70% of laborers and 90% of trade unionists to be educated regarding the Law on Labor, the Law on Trade Union; having 85% of laborers in VSIP being trade unionists…

The congress also focused on further improving the organization and operational methods of VSIP’s Trade Union. On this occasion, provincial Labor Union awarded the banner for “Excellent unit” to VSIP’s Trade Union.
