Warmness of Trade Union Tet market 2023

On the evening of January 6, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) coordinated with Binh Duong province to organize the "Trade Union Tet market” program 2023 at provincial Labor Culture Center.

The event was attended by Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice-Chairman of the VGCL; Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of  provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda-Education Commission; Nguyen Minh Thuy, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission.

The Trade Union Tet market 2023 will take place within 3 days (from January 6 to 8), with a scale of more than 70 stalls with essential services sold at preferential prices, quality assurance and “zero dong” booths. Espencially, the VGCL offered 2,500 shopping vouchers worth VND 300,000 each to trade unionists  and workers with extremely difficult circumstances to buy goods at the Tet market. At the Tet market, there are also folk games together with many cultural and sports activities, etc. Mr. Hieu said that the Trade Union Tet market 2023 with other practical activities of the Trade Union aimed at taking care of the material and spiritual lives of trade unionists and employees, especially those with extremely difficult circumstances for a warm, joyful and happy Tet.

On this occasion, provincial People's Committee donated a symbolic board of Tet gifts worth VND 46.5 billion, equivalent to 46,500 gifts, to disadvantaged workers; offered  gifts to 60 disadvantaged workers; gave train, bus tickets under the "Spring train, Spring bus" program for 45 workers living away from home; offered plane tickets to 10 workers living away from home…
