Doan Thi Thuy Phuong, Secretary of Phu Giao district’s Youth Union said that the district’s Steering Board of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign will organize “When drinking water, remember its source” activities and a ceremony burning candles to pay tribute to heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day.
Accordingly, from July 20 to 27, the district’s Youth Unions at all levels will made dissemination of information about the formation and significance of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, July 17; encourage the local youngsters to get involved in “When drinking water, remember its source” and “Paying debt of gratitude” activities; maintain heroic Vietnamese mothers; visit and present gifts to the families of war invalids, martyrs and revolutionary contributors; organize a ceremony burning candles to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the district’s Martyrs’ Cemetery…
