When students study science

On August 21, Dau Tieng district’s Youth Union held an interesting Science Festival and "Water Rocket Competition", "Jet Racing" for high school students in 2022.

The water rocket contest was for 11^th graders high schools in the district. Each unit had at least 2 teams and each team had 2 students. In this competition, participating teams were free to show their creativity and aesthetics in creating rockets under the criteria set by the organizers. Then, they had to show their ability in their best long-range shooting technique. Water rockets landed for the first time in an area would be scored in that area. Each team was allowed to shoot up to 2 times and its score was calculated for the shot with the highest score. The jet racing competition was for 10th graders of high schools in the district. Each unit had at least 2 teams and each team had 2 students. In this competition, participating teams competed in creating jet car robots and conquering the track.

As a result, the organizers awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize and 2 consolation prizes to excellent teams in each competition.
