Whole country is home to 20,000 cooperatives

The whole country now has a total of 20,000 cooperatives with 13 million members. Over the past five years, there were 5,000 cooperatives and 150,000 cooperative groups in the fields of agricultural production, industrial manufacture, trade-services, construction, transportation, education, healthcare, environment… set up with around 30 million members. There are now also 43 cooperative unions, including 29 with effective operation.

Especially, the cooperative economic sector’s contribution to the whole country’s GDP value increased to 6.5% in 2015 from 5.05% in 2013…
