Whole province has 233 individuals, organizations under VietGAP standards

According to provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DoARD), the local organization of linking production and business chains in agriculture will continue being renewed. In the first months of 2021, two new agricultural cooperatives was established. The province now has 66 agricultural cooperatives with 943 members, charter capital of VND 189.7 billion; 102 agricultural cooperative groups with 930 members. There are also 643 farms, including 98 cultivation farms, 539 animal husbandry farms, 3 aquaculture farms and 3 general farms with a total area of over 3,457.2 ha and about 2,401 regular employees.

In addition, provincial DoARD supported more than VND 188 million for 7 individuals and organizations to get VietGAP certifications. As of now, the whole province has 233 individuals and organizations applying VietGAP standards. Among them, 85 individuals and organizations enjoyed support in accordance with provincial People's Committee’s Decision No. 11/2014/QD-UBND.
