Whole province has 84 communes, wards and towns under "new normality"

After one week of re-evaluating the pandemic level, provincial Department of Health announced that the whole province has so far had 84 communes, wards and townships of level 1 (new normality corresponding to blue), 6 communes and wards of level 2 (medium risk corresponding to yellow) and 1 town of level 3 (corresponding to orange).

Particularly, 6 communes and wards of level 2 include Chanh Phu Hoa, Hoa Loi wards and Phu An commune in Ben Cat town; Cay Truong, Lai Hung, Tan Hung communes in Bau Bang district. In the whole province, there is only Lai Uyen town in Bau Bang district with the level 3 of the pandemic. The level of pandemic in the province is assessed on the criteria of infection level and ability of response on the total population.

In terms of infection level, the province has 91 communes, wards and towns classified with 4 levels (level 1: 600). The level of infection is determined through two indicators: the rate of new cases per week per 100,000 people and the average rate of oxygen patients per 100,000 people.

Regarding the ability to respond to pandemic situations, 91 communes, wards and towns are assessed to have high ability to meet all 3 criteria (management and care for F0 cases; rate of hospital beds available for Covid-19 patients and proportion of ICU beds with enough medical staff).
