Whole province saves over 352 million kWh of electricity

In 2021, Binh Duong Power Company implemented power saving activities by many forms, programs and widely propagated the program of using electricity economically among customers. The electricity saving program was actively responded by a large number of people, mass organizations, agencies and enterprises. In 2021, the province saved 352.248 million kWh of power, an increase of 6.98% compared to 202 or 113.11% of the year’s plan. 

However, according to the assessment of the company, along with advantages, the program has still faced shortcomings in propaganda work in order to get more active response from people. The company currently manages more than 500,000 electricity customers and its allocated cost is not enough to deploy many communication activities, coordinate with mass organizations to mobilize customers to participate in the program more strongly.
