Whole province welcomes 2.5 million tourists

Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the whole province welcomed about 2.5 million visitors in 2023, or 125% of the year's plan, up 39% compared to 2022. The province’s total tourism revenue was estimated at more than VND1.69 trillion, or 105.9% of the year's plan, up 21.1% compared to 2022.

In order to further promote strengths and improve the quality of tourism products, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will advise provincial People's Committee on submitting a proposal issuing a resolution on supporting the local tourism development in 2030 to provincial People's Council; organize a conference to meet tourism businesses and give orientations on tourism development in 2024.

In addition, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize many training conferences to improve the quality of human resources in tourism activities and skills in agricultural and rural tourism development in the province...
