Nguyen Ngoc Hang, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said that over the past time, the province had close coordination in child care and protection. The province built a lot of recreational areas, cultural houses for children; strengthened socialization in taking care of children in rural communes, thereby creating favorable conditions for all children to get comprehensive development.

Taking care of each targeted group

The province launched a lot of practical movements to join hands in child care over the past time. Along with recreational and learning activities, localities, sectors and mass organizations in the province organized talk shows for children, helping them say their dreams and aspirations to the family and society…

Perhaps, workers’ offspring need to have more attention from the local sectors, authorities and mass organizations at all levels. Hence, provincial Youth Unions at all levels actively mobilized these children to attend charity classes; organized recreational activities for them at lodging facilities…It is known that hundreds of workers’ offspring are mobilized to charity classes in quarters, at pagodas, lodging facilities… every year. These classes also help them get basic knowledge about culture, society and national traditions and strive to become useful citizens for the family and society.

As planned, the local sectors, authorities and mass organizations at all levels will help disabled children get healthcare at HCM city-based traumatology, orthopaedics and rehabilitation centers for children; provide surgery for cleft-palate and hare-lipped children…This will be good news for the local families with disabled children. Over the past years, such practical activities took place in the province with the profound humanitarian significance of “Love your neighbor as yourself”…
