Women in Binh Duong study and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings, perfecting themselves in each aspect

Provincial Women’s Union has promoted a campaign of “studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle” among officials and members via many practical activities. These activities have absorbed involvement of numerous women, helping them perfect themselves and affirming their role in the society.

Nguyen Thi Thu Hong, Chairwoman of provincial Women’s Union said that over the past two years, studying and following Uncle Ho’s ideology, morality and lifestyle was concretized by practical movements and models, namely “women helping each other in economic development”, “Five No-s, Three Clean-s”, “House of compassion”, “Charity rice jar”…

Accordingly, provincial Women’s Union built 86 houses of compassion for members with a total value of nearly VND4.5billion; offered help to 60,000 women with difficult circumstances under the “thrift practice” program; maintained clubs propagandizing women’s four moral virtues… Upon this, after two years of implementing the Politburo’s No.05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 on “Acceleration of studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle”, provincial Women’s Union discovered many role-models in studying and following Uncle Ho’s ideology, morality and lifestyle.

Vo Thi Thu Thuy, Chairwoman of Thuan An town’s Women’s Union branch said that members of the local Women’s Union have been very active in studying and following Uncle Ho’s ideology, morality and lifestyle to perfect themselves via practical models and movements. For example, the model of “Sieu thi o dong” (Free supermarket) of Vinh Phu ward’s Women’s Union branch has actually become one of significant activities in studying and following Uncle Ho’s ideology, morality and lifestyle.

Other Women’s Union branches in the province have implemented a variety of creative models in studying and following Uncle Ho’s ideology, morality and lifestyle. They include the models of “Saving golden book” and “Sharing love” of Ben Cat town’s Women’s Union branch; “Sharing the heart” of Ben Cat town and Bau Bang district’s Women’s Union branches; “Charity rice porridge pot” of Phu Giao district’s Women’s Union branch; “Women helping each other surmount difficulties” of Dau Tieng district’s Women’s Union branch…

Mrs.Hong said that one of highlights done by provincial Women’s Unions at all levels over the past time was to associate the contents of studying and following Uncle Ho’s ideology, morality and lifestyle with thrift practice and social charity activities, upholding the spirit of “mutual love, mutual affection” among people from all strata.

Also according to her, after two years of implementing the Politburo No.05-CT/TW, provincial Women’s Unions at all levels concretized the contents of the Politburo in association with the emulation movement of “Women actively study, creatively work and build up happy families”, the campaign of “Training Vietnamese women’s four moral virtues: “Self-confidence, Self-respect, Faithfulness and Resourcefulness”, the campaign of “Five No-s, Three Clean-s”..., thereby contributing to helping members perfect themselves.
