On June 10, the Women's Union of North Tan Uyen district organized the 2023 “Women acting for the environment” festival with the theme of "Solutions to Plastic Pollution".

The festival took place with many activities, including a talkshow on solutions to improve the quality of environmental protection and climate change response; a draw contest to mobilize members to limit the use of plastic waste for the sake of the environment; a puzzle contest themed the world environment day; implementation of a commitment to limit the use of plastic waste and nylon bags.

On this occasion, the district’s Women’s Union gave 100 plastic shopping bags for members to limit the use of plastic bags while organizing the monthly godmother program for 10 orphans, due to Covid-19...

*On the same day, along the canals of Vinh Phu ward, at the section of Cau Mong canal in Thuan An city, hundreds of young people cleaned and collected garbage in many polluted canals with the desire of reviving green channels, propagandizing people to protect the environment together.

Doan Van To, Head of Binh Duong Xanh group said that currently, the group is still working on canals in Thuan An city to contribute to changing clothes, reducing some waste as well as spreading propaganda among people in order to protect the environment together...
