Words to factory workers

Update: 13-07-2021 | 07:49:32

Since its appearance, the Covid-19 pandemic has claimed millions of lives in countries around the world, regardless of rich or poor and caused heavily socio-economic losses and upset the entire livelihoods and human activities. Thanks to the quick response, timely decisions of the Party and State, the drastic and flexible direction from the central to local levels, the determination and consensus of the entire people, the business community, as a result, Vietnam has achieved some initial success in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic.

In this 4th outbreak, the Covid-19 epidemic is even more dangerous because of the variation of the virus strains, the very fast speed of transmission. Along with some provinces and cities, Binh Duong is also working day and night with all its might to soon prevent and reverse the epidemic situation. As the epidemic has spread to industrial parks, some companies and enterprises had to temporarily stop their operations to establish zoning and medical quarantine measures to trace and prevent the spread of the disease. This has affected the operations of some businesses as well as the lives of their employees. Therefore, over the past time, the Steering Committees for Epidemic Prevention and Control at all levels have promptly directed functional forces to coordinate in supporting, guiding, propagating, mobilizing, inspecting and reminding industrial parks, business owners, production facilities, etc. to raise their awareness, roles and responsibilities and to develop plans to both ensure epidemic prevention and stabilize production and business operations. Many enterprises have arranged for workers to work and stay at the factories to ensure that production and business activities are not delayed.

For the past time, positive cases of SAR-CoV-2 have appeared in some businesses, forcing the implementation of medical quarantine and suspension of operations; many workers and business owners have a good sense of compliance, making it beneficial for the functional forces to promptly stamp out the epidemic effectively and to soon bring back production and business activities.  In order for no one to be left behind during the pandemic, governments at all levels and organizations and social organizations have implemented many activities to join hands to support and help the affected poor workers. Most recently, the government has signed Decision No. 23/2021/QD-TTg on stipulating the implementation of a number of policies to support employees and employers facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in which, the insurance premium for occupational accidents and diseases is reduced;  support is extended to improve vocational skills to maintain jobs for employees; support is extended to employees to take unpaid leaves; support is extended to employees who stop working and so on.

By these timely guidelines and policies and with such thoughtful care, we hope that each employee will understand to share, work together, agree, and comply with regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control. Early detection and timely tracing will stamp out the epidemic most effectively to bring businesses back to work as soon as possible, and the workers' lives will also be stable. On the contrary, the unrightful action not only violates the law but also causes many consequences that affect businesses, society and even themselves. Behind them are their children, elderly mothers, and families that they still has to support. Be calm and wise in your actions, even if your company is in temporary medical quarantine! Let's join hands to stop the at the soonest.
