Work starts on a 6.7mln Euros-waste treatment plant

Early Dec.5, Binh Duong Water Supply, Drainage and Environment Company held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the 6.7mln Euros-waste treatment plant in the South Binh Duong solid waste treatment complex in Ben Cat district’s Chanh Phu Hoa commune.

This plant is built on a 1.5 ha area with a daily capacity of 420 tons of waste and can generate 100 tons of compost fertilizer for areas specializing in growing long-term industrial trees including rubber, coffee, tea…in the provinces of Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc and in the Highland provinces. It is expected to take 300 days for completion.
