Work starts on Dutch-funded project

Sukmono Vietnam Co.Ltd. under Padifood Group of Holland started construction of the Jimmy Hung Anh food processing factory.

 Covering 12,000sq.m, the factory has a total investment capital of VND100bln and is specialized in processing various instant food like instant noodle, instant gruel and nutritious food from rice, which will be exported into European market with the annual export value of US$10mln-US$20mln.

 It is expected that the factory will be fulfilled and put into operation in 2011’s 2nd quarter. Once operational, it will generate jobs for 500 laborers in and out of the province.

 At the groundbreaking ceremony, Sukmono Vietnam Co.Ltd. and the International Technology Transfer-Construction Investment Joint Stock Co. also donated VND40mln to Lai Uyen commune’s Fund for the Poor.
