Work starts on"Kindness" house

*Offering “unity great” house to disadvantaged household

To celebrate the 12th local Youth Union Congress for the 2022-2027 term, Thu Dau Mot city’s Youth Union cooperated with the Youth Union branch of the city’s Police Agency to hold the groundbreaking ceremony for construction of a "kindness” house for the family of Nguyen Thanh Vu, permanently residing in Chanh My ward’s My Hao 1 quarter on the morning of November 10.

The  family is in a difficult situation. Vu unfortunately had a traffic accident, making his body suffer from paralysis and was no longer able to work. His wife has an unstable job while 2 older children dropped out of school to work, helping the family. His youngest son is currently in 5th grade.

The house is expected to be completed in December 2021 with a total cost of VND 50 million, mobilized by the Youth Union branch of the city’s Police Agency from provincial Association of Women Entrepreneurs.

*On the morning of the same day, Thuan An city’s Women's Union coordinated with the Women's Union branch of Binh Chuan ward to give a “great unity” house for the family of Tran Thi Hoa in Binh Chuan ward’s Binh Phuoc B quarter in Thuan An city.

The 33 sq.m house has a total cost of VND 80 million, including VND50million from provincial Association of Women Entrepreneurs and VND30million from Tran Trung Hau in Lai Thieu ward.
